This new feature moves you away from manual nominations, tackling multiple spreadsheets and the dread on your teams’ faces as you ask them to think back to the outstanding achievements of colleagues – from months ago.

Oh, and no more follow-up emails either when you have minimal responses and the nomination period is about to close. The system will do all the reminding for you.

Company awards are simple and flexible while keeping the often favoured traditional ‘leadership panel’ approach for award determination – if you choose. We take all of the pain points of an award process, automate them and make them simple and engaging, and integrate the format directly into your social recognition program.

The module features lots of flexibility around set-up allowing you to choose how the program works. It encourages employees to nominate someone for the award, endorse other nominees and cast their vote for the final achiever. Once completed, awards are issued within minutes so no waiting around for sign-off or HR to deliver the reward. It all just happens – like magic!

There are three award formats you can select so your HR team or departmental leaders can implement the program that best suits their goal (that’s right, company awards can be run for specific departments, not just company-wide!):

  • Employees nominate and the company decide the winners

  • The company selects the nominees and employees vote on the winners

  • Employees nominate and the employees vote on the winners


With each format, previous moments that have been recognised help to support a nomination. Afterall, awards of this calibre are rarely about a single moment of greatness. One of the most common concerns we hear from clients is that company awards undermine the recognition process or turn into a popularity contest. Now, choose the period of eligibility, for example, ‘all employees received in Q1’ and that is how employees will be considered for the award. If their actions and achievements at the time were not worthy of a recognition, that moment is not considered for the award period.

Every nomination, vote, comment or winner is delivered directly to the social feed creating real buzz around the behaviours and actions of the nominees. And for those using one of the many integrations we offer, that buzz will translate to Teams, Workplace or Slack (or whichever tool you are using) as it happens. No more manual emails or hidden awards, it all happens in real time, for all to see and celebrate. A level of transparency that is vital post-pandemic.
